The homeowner’s roof had reached the end of its serviceable life and was in need of replacement. Looking to manage costs, they opted for a re-roof rather than a full tear-off. The property also had a flat roof section that required attention, including areas of deteriorated decking that needed to be replaced before a new roofing system could be installed.

Python Roofing completed a re-roof of the main residence, installing new roofing materials directly over the existing layer to keep costs down without sacrificing quality. For the flat roof, damaged decking was removed and replaced to provide a solid substrate before the new system was applied. The flat roof was completed using the Owens Corning DeckSeal 2-ply self-adhered system in Shasta White, providing a durable, fully adhered waterproof membrane. The main roof was finished with Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles in Sierra Gray, installed per manufacturer guidelines with proper ice & water shield and synthetic underlayment throughout.
