This homeowner’s roof had reached the end of its serviceable life, was experiencing leaks and was in need of full replacement. The inspection also revealed that the original cedar fascia boards along the roofline had suffered significant deterioration, a combination of age, moisture exposure, and wood-boring bee damage had left multiple boards rotted and structurally compromised. The existing gutter system was also due for replacement, and with the fascia in poor condition it made sense to address all three systems together before installing new gutters on a failing substrate.

Python Roofing completed a full tear-off and replacement of the entire roof system. All deteriorated cedar fascia boards were identified during tear-off and replaced with new cedar to match the existing profile, restoring a solid, clean substrate for the new gutter installation. New 5″ brown seamless aluminum gutters were installed along all eaves, properly pitched and sealed for long term drainage performance. The roof was finished with Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles in Brownwood, a warm earthy tone that complements the home’s exterior beautifully and pairs well with the brown gutter system for a cohesive finished look.
