Elaine Dr, North Royalton Gutter Replacement

Gutter Replacement

The Problem

After replacing their roof with a new standing seam metal roof, the homeowners quickly discovered that their existing 5″ gutters could not keep up with the increased water runoff. Metal roofs shed water significantly faster than asphalt shingles — the smooth surface and steep drainage angle accelerate water flow to the eaves, overwhelming standard 5″ gutters during heavy rain and causing overflow that threatened the home’s foundation and landscaping.

The Scope & Materials

Python Roofing removed the existing 5″ gutter system and installed new 6″ seamless aluminum gutters sized specifically to handle the higher volume water flow from the metal roof. The larger profile provides significantly greater capacity ensuring proper drainage even during heavy downpours. Perforated aluminum gutter guards were installed across the full gutter system, blocking leaves and debris while allowing water to flow freely, keeping the new gutters performing at their best with minimal maintenance required.
