Woodmere Dr, Berea Roof Replacement
Roof & Gutter Replacement
Owens Corning Duration Shingles - Pacific Wave
The Problem
This Berea homeowner came to Python Roofing looking to replace an aging roof and upgrade their gutter system. While the shingles had run their course, the more significant discovery came during tear-off — 13 sheets of roof decking had warped over time, creating an uneven surface that would compromise the integrity and appearance of any new roofing system installed over it. Unlike rot or moisture damage, warped decking is caused by long term thermal cycling and inadequate fastening, and must be addressed before new materials go down to ensure a flat, stable foundation.
The Scope & Materials
Python Roofing completed a full tear-off and replaced all 13 warped decking sheets prior to installation, ensuring a smooth and structurally sound substrate for the new roofing system. RhinoRoof granulated ice & water shield was installed at all eaves, valleys, and penetrations, paired with RhinoRoof U20 synthetic underlayment across the full deck. Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles in Pacific Wave were installed per manufacturer guidelines, giving the home a fresh coastal-inspired look. A complete new gutter system was installed alongside perforated aluminum gutter guards, providing reliable drainage and reducing the need for routine maintenance going forward.
"Very happy with our new roof and gutters. Installers kept the area clean."
